connection "breaks"

I've following problem here in our network:

From one machine the internetconnection is broken. While I can ping everywhere connections to servers outside the LAN break (websites only partially loaded, radiostreaming stops after 5 seconds, opening imap-boxes works 1 or 2 times and then timeout ...)

Connection from the other machines to the internet has no problems and connection from the bad machine to the other machines has no troubles too !!

I can ping the whole world with any packagesize up to 15k and I dont see any errors in the logs or error-packages in ifconfig. I resetted all routers and the bad machine. I changed MTU on the accesspoint from 1500 to 1000 ... I dont know what to do now?

where should I start troubleshooting? What should I think off that I dont think off?

thnx,
peter
