Open source equivalent to gotomypc.com?

Is there any software which I could run under linux which does the same
thing as gotomypc.com? I would like to add simple way for personel in
my company to access their pc's , but because of the nature of my
business, I cannot use a third party provider for the service.
We have a linux server hosted on the internet which we have full root
access to, and I was wondering if there was a package we could install
which would act as a proxy between machines in our office and a java
applet on our server.
i.e. User goes to https://vnc.mybusiness.com and is presented with an
applet which allows them to type in the name of their machine and vnc
in. Our machines are at our offices behind a firewall using NAT. I
would guess that these desktops would have to be configured such that
they have software installed which connects to a java applet on the
same server and "registers" itself awaiting for connections.
I've done a little looking around, but have not been able to find
anything.
