I just installed Suse 10.0 as dual-boot with Win/2000 on an IBM Thinkpad

works perfectly (same machine, same AP, same WEP encryption, etc.)

How many wireless cards do you have?

Only 1 wireless "card" (pcmcia). The Thinkpad has a builtin infrared port, which Suse also considers to be a wireless device at wlan0. I have never used the IR, but it is, nevertheless, installed.
