Thanks. I plan to study the source code of IEEE802.11 and wireless
driver. If possible, I want to make some change to it. Could you give
me some suggestions?
If you download the 2.6.17 source code, there are sources for at least 20 different wireless drivers. I don't know which of these devices, if any, that you have, but please do not suggest any modifications to the code that you have not tested. Not all of these use the ieee80211 code, but a number do. In addition, a couple use the ieee80211softmac stack to handle their MAC layer.
As to suggestions of problems and/or projects, I have enough trouble finding things that I can handle.
