Why would you recompile the kernel:

/proc/sys/net/ipv4/netfilter/ip_conntrack_tcp_timeout_established

I don't have this file. I'm using RH 9 there is no
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/netfilter directory. the ip_conntrac file is in the
/prov/sys/net/ipv4 directory for example. I couldn't find the file
elsewhere.
Do you know if there is another way to do it on this system without
recompiling?
