Im running Fedora fc4. Is there a way to get a vnc viewer to connect
to these windows boxes running UltraVNC?

Wine seems to work well with UltraVNC only I was wondering if there
was an alternative client perhaps that I could try?

http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/features/javaviewer.html

I tried that the java client, which I though didnt run too well on
firefox.. however I still would like to resolve that error if
possible?

I would strongly suggest http://sourceforge.net/projects/vnc-tight/ rather
than what you're using. Tha javaviewer client works wonderfully well here in
Firefox on several OS platforms, so I'm guessing that the VNC server is the
problem for you.

The vnc server is running UltraVNC on the remote computer.
There seems to be a difference with this RFB protocol?
Firefox seems to work, however I would still prefer to run a client not
reliant on the web browser.
Is there a linux vnc-client that can connect to UltraVNC?
