reduce snort binary size

Please tell me if there are any configuration options available while
compiling snort inline to reduce the snort binary size to < 1 MB ?
snort inline functionality in my case would be limited to
interaction with iptables,so libpcap can be excluded.Can anyone suggest
me something?? The present size of the binary is 1844485 bytes.Version
is snort_inline-2.4.5a. I have tried the commandline options available
with snort_inline ./configure (

without any use.
