Hi
I want to import user over NIS from a suse 10.2 pc to a fedora
pc
NIS Server ist running on suse an another suse server is able to
import the useres correctly
on fedora the client runs an i can switch as root via su to
the users exported from suse. (homedir ist imported by nfs)
the problem is
passwordchecking does not work: i cant switch as user via su to
a nis user (local user works). system claims: wrong password
I did edit passwd,shadow,groups,gshadow for +::: ...
no entrys in syslog concernig login try
after client stop/start
Jul 26 11:36:16 gate setsebool: The allow_ypbind policy boolean was
changed to 0 by root
Jul 26 11:36:19 gate setsebool: The allow_ypbind policy boolean was
changed to 1 by root
Jul 26 11:36:19 gate ypbind: NIS domain: designbau-ag, NIS server:
192.168.2.101
yptest runs without complaining and shows all imported user incl.
