linux nis issue

Hi,

Recently swapped out a linux server that was an NIS client. Setup NIS
and NFS on the new server. NFS works, I can get to the users home
dirs. NIS looks to be setup correctly i.e. ypcat passwd works fine.
But, I cannot log into via SSH as a user AND I cannot su to an
existing user on the new box.

Any help?

Thanks.
