My apartment block provides wi-fi access, but only my Windows XP
laptop is equipped to connect. My desktop doesn't have a wi-fi card,
and it run Ubuntu Linux 7.10. Therefore, I don't have Internet on my
Linux box. But, the two computers are connected through a router. Can
I connect to wifi from my laptop and have Internet on my Linux PC
through the router? If so, how?
Thanks,

IIRC it's called ICS (internet connection sharing) it's only
included in certain read expensive windows versions (profesional and up iirc).
take a look at this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306126
it seems to be also included in the Home version of XP
