Thanks for the replies.
My /etc/resolv.conf is:
; generated by /sbin/dhclient-script
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220
They are the IP addresses of Open DNS (http://www.opendns.com/).
Running
%> host www.yahoo.com 208.67.222.222
gives:
Using domain server:
Name: 208.67.222.222
Address: 208.67.222.222#53
Aliases:
www.yahoo.com is an alias for www.yahoo-ht3.akadns.net
www.yahoo-ht3.akadns.net has address 87.248.113.14
I get a similar response from 208.67.220.220
Does this provide any more info?
Thanks,
Chris
