Yes, the netmask is 192.168.1.255 and the broadcast is 255.255.255.0.

I hope this is a typo :-) If not, switch netmask and broadcast values.

Yes, a pretty silly typo. One day I might learn that I shouldn't try to
type and eat at the same time, but then again I've been doing it for
over 30 years so I must be a really slow learner :)
