I have a laptop(TOSHIBA portege2000) using Trident CyberBlade/XP graphic
chipset.
When I installed redhat 8.0, it use trident for Device driver and works good.
(with full screen mplayer) But when I installed Debian(sid), if I select
it again for device modules, it works too slow to use and only work select
a vesa driver. But mplayer didn't work with full screen.
I don't understand this, because Debian(sid) has a later XFree86 version
more than RedHat 8.0 :-(
I don't understand this problem. Is there kernel problem? or X config problem?
Please help me.
