Hello,

I have a IBM X20 with the 3com combo card. It seems that there is no
driver for the modem on this card. Because i also have the media slice
for the X20 with a parallel and com port. I assumed that I can attach an
ordinary external modem to the serial port. But, suse 8.0 does not find
the serial port.
Does anyone know how I get this serial port to work? Or maybe i can
connect the modem to the parallel port?

Best regards,

Michiel Fokkema
