Hi

I have a USB-powered Iomega zip 100 drive which works well with my desktop.
Is it possible to get it to work with a laptop ? (its a power consideration
- my PS/2 external optical mouse works with the laptop, is the power drawn
by the drive more than the USB ports can provide ?).

When I boot up (I have sr_mod, usb-storage modules compiled), the zip drive
does make a noise, but the LED never comes on. Hence my question.

Has anyone gotten this to work ?

Thanks,

MS
