hi,
I have a gateway 9300 Solo running Mandrake 9.2 It works fine, and
does so with other versions of Linux as well. The solo has a built in
TV out and in which I wanted to use for a PVR propject I am looking
at.
I noticed that when I plug the TV out into a TV, the readout on the TV
is fine during boot. I see all the lines no problem. however when X
starts the screen goes carzy as though the scan rate is completely
out. I have set the resolution to the lowest possible but I am not
sure where to go next.
Can anyone suggest some steps.. should I change the scan rate etc, or
is it something more fundemental?
Thanks for any help
Paul
