    Story I'd like to relate:

            Purchased a Sony "Gazelle" laptop PCG-GRT100p from a recognized vendor for Linux laptops in the US. Served me well for awhile until it incurred mainboard damage while still under warranty. I was able to fill Sony in on something that they should have put more "ideas" into, I suppose, and the price of repair was reduced from about a thousand dollars to about $400. Much displeased with this, but I accepted this proposal.

    I leared later that the damn thing is only worh about $300 mint. Heh.
