Is it possible to have:

1) X running on an external monitor with a console on the laptop screen?

OR

2) X running on an external monitor with the same X desktop on the
laptop screen? (isn't this a standard Xinerama setup?)

OR

3) X running on an external monitor with a different X desktop on the
laptop screen?

OR

4) Are there any other configurations I'm not aware of?

I'm getting a HP zt3000 laptop with WUXGA (1920x1200) screen, ATI Radeon
9200 64Mb graphics card, and am also hoping to get a HP L2335 WUXGA
(1920x1200) monitor. I'd like to use the laptop screen as a console, if
possible.

Thanks for your help,

Mark /
