I've installed Vectorlinux-4.3 (2.6.7 kernel) on a Thinkpad 240 (Celeron
400 w/ 192MB RAM) and am generally quite pleased with how well it works.
The one issue I'm having right now is that the PCMCIA network card (Xircom
CBE2-100) ceases to work when I resume from hibernation. I've tried
removing and replacing the card to wake it up, but no joy. The kernel
recognizes the card being reinserted, but the interface remains down. I've
tried using ifconfig to bring it back up, but although it runs without
complaint ("ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.230 up"), the network remains
inaccessible. I've tried restarting the PCMCIA card services with similar
non-results.
Any ideas?
