I'm trying to build the LT modem driver in Vectorlinux-4.3 (kernel 2.6.7)
for my TP-240. I've downloaded the ltmodem-2.6-alk-6 package, and the
modules (ltmodem.ko and ltserial.ko) build without compliant, but the
kernel refuses to load them:

[root@vector /tmp/ltmodem-2.6-alk-6]# /sbin/modprobe ltmodem
FATAL: Error inserting ltmodem (/lib/modules/2.6.7-ide4/misc/ltmodem.ko):
Invalid module format
[root@vector /tmp/ltmodem-2.6-alk-6]# /sbin/modprobe ltserial
WARNING: Error inserting ltmodem
(/lib/modules/2.6.7-ide4/misc/ltmodem.ko): Invalid module format
FATAL: Error inserting ltserial
(/lib/modules/2.6.7-ide4/misc/ltserial.ko): Invalid module format

This is my first experience with the 2.6 kernel. Any ideas on how to make
this work are appreciated.
