Mine was okay but the video card is horrid for X (it's the XT 155 pavillion
I think).
If I were you, I'd burn a Knoppix disc and take into Best Buy (or where
ever) and ask to see it run. Then you can boot it to the CD and see exactly
what works and doesn't. Then you can do more research on what doesn't work.
