    I've installed Debian unstable on my amilo A 1640, and i've used the
    sis driver, using information from
    http://www.winischhofer.at/linuxsisvga.shtml. I also used sisctl and the
    sisdriver from this site. You can find my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
    configuration file at http:www.esat.kuleuven.ac.be/~dvherten/XF86Config-4
    (very basic, didn't do much about it, didn't have time yet :-/). I got my
    TV-out working using sisctl, but only in the 640*480 mode.
