After I got my digital version of Linspire I got some major hardware
problems!
One of the problems was my D-Link DWL-520 wireless card, which
supposed to be supported by the Linspire Five-0 version.
The technical support just told me to join the user forum and ask the
guys there!!!
For what did I spend $49.95 if that is the treatment a customer gets?
Another problem: The CNR system
just another way to get your money since a membership will cost you
again 49.95 and all you get for it are programs which come free with
any other Linux distribution!
And which Linux user likes a fully automated install / deinstall tool
anyway?
My opinion is that Linspire is not worth the money! You better have a
look in the web! There are still some free distributions out there,
like as example Aurox Linux! And the programs you would get through a
membership in the LinSpire CNR warehouse are there already
integrated!!!
A warning:
Be careful with using screenshots or Linspire logos in any form!
In copyright questions LinSpire is much worse and much more aggressive
than Microsoft!!!
