I need XMMS help

    I'm trying to listen to streaming Internet music using XMMS running on
    Yellow Dog Linux on an old iMac. When I put the URL in the "play location"
    window, an "open file" window pops open, prompting me for a file on the
    local hard drive. I can't play Internet streams. This is most annoying.
    Why does it happen? Anybody?
