Hi,

I will be getting a new G4 in a couple weeks, and I was thinking about
install Linux on it, but I had some questions.

1.) Is there even an advantage to running Linux since OS X comes with
an X Windows environment and Fink has a lot of packages?

2.) If so, are there significant differences between the different
Linux distros, and what are their pros and cons?

Thanks,
Paul
