renovating wallstreet

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a 256MB memory upgrade for an old 266MHz Wall Street.

I read somewhere that a firmware upgrade might be needed -- can anyone
confirm or deny this please?

Also, if anyone knows a good, cheap place to buy in the UK, I'd be obliged!
