secondary monitor ok but

Hi,
i'm asking why i can start X only if disable append="video=ofonly"
in /etc/yaboot.conf (monitor of iBook come black after few second,
i login without see nothing and press gdm or startx)
configuration of XF86Config-4 it's ok, i have followed many guide and
howto but nothing..
my configuration is Debian testing and kernel 2.6.X (i don't remember)
and i have iBook G4 (512KB cache)
