Switching from KDE to GNOME

Just installed YDL 3.0.1 on a Rev.D iMac. Default "workstation" install.

It works just fine. Easiest Linux install I've seen so far. But...

While KDE is the default GUI, I know that GNOME code was
also installed, the which I would prefer to use (TWM is *not* an option.)

How do I switch from KDE to GNOME? (The default desktop where I
work is moving from CDE to GNOME on Solaris, and that will be the
most familiar for users, or will be after the shift is completed.)

I couldn't find any HOWTO's that were useful, so...

TIA.
