Openvpn/Mandrake/ibook

    Hi!

    Iīm trying to get an Openvpn tunnel running to cover my WLan.

    but I have one strange problem:
    iīve installed and configured openvpn on the server as well as on the
    ibook. The server side seemd to work fine, I have a new device called
    tap0. I am able to ping this device from all the machines on the network.

    But on my ibook ppc (Mandrake 9.2) the device tap0 doesnt appear. For
    this reason the device is not rechable from network - clear.

    What Iīve noticed is that some options donīt work in the conf file for
    the VPN tunnel:
    route, route-gatway arenīt accepted by openvpn (1.3.x) but on the server
      (newest openvpn) they are accepted.

    Is this the reason why my openvpn start script doesnīt establish the
    device tap0?
