In a message to alt.os.linux.gentoo, Klaus Dahlke described errors he
got while "make"ing firefox:
gmake[3]: Entering directory `/Opt/work/mozilla/netwerk/resources'
+++ making chrome /Opt/work/mozilla/netwerk/resources =>
.../../dist/bin/chrome/comm.jar
+++ adding chrome ../../dist/bin/chrome/installed-chrome.txt

zip warning: ../comm.jar not found or empty

+++ making chrome /Opt/work/mozilla/netwerk/resources =>
.../../dist/bin/chrome/en-US.jar
error: file '../../toolkit/locales/en-US/chrome/necko/contents.rdf'
doesn't
exist at ../../config/make-jars.pl line 418, line 9.
I get the same errors on Yellow Dog Linux 3.0.1. One respondent suggested
setting LINGUAS to "en" either in the ./configure or make. I tried both
with no effect.
Does anyone have other suggestions for how to get this make to work?
