Hey,
I've a PowerMac Beige (a PowerMac G3 Server 300Mhz). This model is an
oldworld with an OpenFirmware version 2.4. I'v installed an debian on
the hard drive with
an other computer, an the quik.
The system is good to be boot, but the problem is
to Openfirmware level.
I'v tried all command possible to boot on hard drive but it does run.
I think i've a bugged Openfirmware version, and on the apple site it
exist a patch
who is on a floppy image :
ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/macosxserver/utilities/SystemDisk2.3.1.smi.bin
To run the patch I need to boot on a macos, and it is at this level
who I need
help.
I've found a floppy image to boot a macos, it seems to be good for the
task witch
I would like to do but I have MacOS on my computers and the floppy
disk image is
in Disk Copy format, it is impossible to copy on floppy with dd. So I
search somebody who have a Mac with a floppy drive and Macos and who
can copy image on
an floppy with Disk Copy. After, he will do a dd image of the disk and
give it
to me. With this image, I can do a floppy with my dd on linux.
This the URL of the floppy disk image :
Thank you for your help.
