Yes, I sent a bug report about both of our problems to the maintainer.
Hopefully it will be fixed in one of the next versions.
One other dependency is that you have to configure /dev/nvram support
in order to use ybin (part of yaboot). You cannot configure it as
module because of another dependency (compiling the kernel works, but
"make modules_install" gives a warning, and modprobing the module
fails). Sent another bug report on that one.
