I'd go with Debian. There's hasn't been a Mac I've worked with I
couldn't get Debian running on. YellowDog isn't bad, but I'm not to big
on Linux distro's built around companies. Companies tend to chose what
they support based on what makes sense for their business. Community
driven distros like Debian, Gentoo, Slackware, etc. tend to support
things based on interest and necessity. You always find a wider variety
of hardware supported by the open-source, community driven bistros over
the commercial ones.
