SuSE 8.0 YaST Control Center problem..

Hi all, I tried to update my SuSE 8.0 Linux with the Online Update
feature of the YaST Control Center. I received error messages for each
app which it tried to update, so I tried to abort the update. The
Control Center would not allow me to abort, so I reset the computer.

Now when I try to invoke Online Update again, It briefly opens a
window, but then shuts it down.

Any advice/suggestions on how to get Online Update back to working?
