Linux for Government users

    Dear all,
    I trying to carry out research in the number of European Governments
    that have started using Linux as an alternative desktop environment.
    Most of the sites I have read seem to refer to Linux as a server
    rather then a desktop.
    Please can you confirm which Governments use Linux as a desktop
    environment rather then Windows. Any links to sites would be most
    usefull.
