Does anyone know if Wine and security dongles made for win32 mix? I am
working on a project for my synagogue to install a Judaica library on an
older computer. All the proposed programs run on Windows 95, but some
of them require a special device to be attached to the parallel port to
prevent copying the program. (It doesn't actually prevent the copying,
but it rather just keeps anyone from running the program if they don't
have the dongle attached.) The computer would probably not be used with
a printer, though I have to allow for the possibility that a printer
might be added.

The specs of the computer are Pentium Pro, 128 mg RAM, 2 gb hard drive,
CD ROm (unknown speed, but should be adequate), tape backup, zip drive,
USB 1.1, etc.

Also, I would like to solicit recommendations for a specific distro that
woudl work well on this system. It won't be connected to a network, but
I need something that runs Wine.

Sincerely,
