    Hi all
My Linux program may be run under different kernels and m/cs having
different package versions. I am thinking of writing a script that
parses "uname -r" and the package --ver option to enforce minimum
kernel version and package versions. Is there a better way to do the
    same function?

    Thanks in advance
    /Sri
