Issues w/Sony Vaio Battery

    My Sony Vaio dies after a few minutes on battery power. I have a Windows
    partition on this laptop and I have never experienced any problems with
    the battery using it. dmesg output gives me this:

    ACPI disabled because your bios is from 00 and too old
