I have inherited a network including several linux boxes of verying
versions etc and wish to standardise the configuration by rebuilding
them to redhat 7.3 (sonme of the software the users use for thweir CAD
stuff doesn't run > 7.3!)
I have a kickstart server working but I want to tweak the packages on
an install - I've identified a 7.3 redhat box currently in use and
looked at the /root/anaconda-ks.cfg file, lifted the packages section
out of it and used it in the ks.cfg file I'm using/testing... but I
get a debug/crash/wotsuit screen when I try and use it in anger!
Is there any way I can find what packages are installed on the
"existing" box so I can create a definitive pacjkcages list for the
ks.cfg for the "rebuilt" boxes - my predecessor left absolutely no
documentation whatsoever...
