Hi,

I am going to buy a new HD, and was wondering if you have some advice,
suggestions, warning or comments:

I am thinking of buying 120.0GB Western Digital 7200 8M hard disk.

I am using RH8.0, on ASUS P4B, 1.9GHz. I have a 60GB HD with a CD-RW and
a CD-burner drives.

So, does anyone know of any problems with the above drive I am thinking
of buying?

I guess I have to install the new HD as slave, but alternatives or
comments are welcome. After installing, I plan to repartion this drive,
so that I have some partions on this one, /home and /opt being two. I
would also like to partition the new one such that i have a separate
partition to experiment with other Linux flavors, which would see the
same /home.

And finally, in addition to any words of wisdom, any pointers to web
pages which explain the procedure of adding a new HD on a Linux machine
are also welcome.

thanks,
->HS
