I have RH7 on my Toshiba satellite pro 460CDX. It has been running fine. I
am now trying to install RH9 on the same laptop. After going thro' all the
initial screens, formatting the partitions and selecting the packages, I get
the error 'The hardware you are using is not supported by the current
version of RH'. It does not say which one is incompatible.
I have tried server install, custom install with and without the X-server
install. But no use.
(The hardware probe did recognize the video card, Chips & Tech 655xxx)
Does anyone know what is it that is different between RH7 and 9 as far as
hardware requirements are concerned. Or is there any other work around.
Thanks
NS
