I lost my Internet connection (Linux RH 8.0)

I have dual boot machine - Win98SE and RH 8.0. I didn't use Linux for
about 2 months and it looks that Linux got insulted - he stopped my
Internet connection. I have no problem using Internet through Win or
through Knoppix (Linux that runs from CD), but RH 8.0 just refuse to
connect.
I connect to the Internet through the router. I can ping router and
using some utility I see it acquires the correct DNS IP address.
Network card has status active. So why there is no Internet
connection? Where else should I look?
