Help: LIke to add dynamic icon for disk on key-MDK92

Hi,
I'd like to add a dynamic icon to my desktop which should appear once I
plug in the Disk on Key, and disappear after I discoonect the device
(after umount). Any user should be able to do it.
I'm using Mandrake 9.2.
Currently, I've a fixed icon - my fstab includes the following:

none /mnt/removable supermount
dev=/dev/sda1,fs=autot,--,sync,umask=0,codepage=850,iocharset=utf8 0 0

Please advise!
