Linux Installation

Hi All,
I am new to Linux Installation.
My computer is having 20 gb hard disk and XP installed. It has 2
partion's assume Partition A 10 gb and Partition B 10 gb. Both the
partition's are NTFS.
When I start installing Linux It is not recognising the Hard disk.
Please guide me for installation of linux.
