Hi.
I am trying to install SUSE 9.0 Prof. on my ASUS A7N8X Deluxe with 2
SAMSUNG SP1614C (each 160GB) connected to the Serial ATA-controller.
Installation says, 'parted' cannot create/change/delete partitions on
these discs. So i created Partitions from WinXP ( 100MB primary, rest
logical with following logical drives: 24GB, 24GB, 100GB,100GB, rest
for Linux) and ignored this message when trying to install the next
time. This time, Yast tells me, there are 2 discs available (hde,
hdg). But the disc hde has only two partitions, one with 97.8 MB and
one with unknown type and appr. 150 GB.
What is going wrong or what is the right way to install ?
