I have a Toshiba A35-S159 with Mandrake9.2. My soundcard uses alsa
driver and I use also KDE.
When I run xine from a shell, if I keep pressed a key the audio or
video sequence accelerates.

If I do that a lot of times it happens that the system go slower and I
have to reboot.

When this happens it seems that it works only when I press any key.

I don't know if is an audio problem or kde problem.

Could you help me, please?
