accessing a cdrom & floppy

I am new to Linux and I just installed the Suse Distro on my PC. I am
having problems accessing my cdrom and floppy drive. when i type mount
and hit enter this is what I get....
Goha@dhcppc1:~/practice_pgms> mount
/dev/hda1 on / type ext2 (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,mode=0620,gid=5)
/dev/hda3 on /home type ext2 (rw)
shmfs on /dev/shm type shm (rw)
usbdevfs on /proc/bus/usb type usbdevfs (rw)

how do i access the drives
