Hi,
I've just upgraded my system from Fedora Core 1 to
Fedora Core 2 test 1.The kernel is 2.6.1-1.65.
I'm unable to mount smb filesystems with the usual 'smbmount'.
'mount -t smbfs' is not working either.
Also, even though the soundcard was detected to be
SiS Trident, no sound is being played.

Both these services worked fine in Fedora Core 1,
with kernel 2.4. What should I do now to mount smb filesystems
and to play sound?

TIA
GVK
