- Hi, I guess this is where one begins to learn about Linux. This is my first time using it, I'm trying to install Suse 9.0 using the ftp method and I can't get the damn thing to recognize that I have a network card (as in the installation just won't proceed at all). I get an error message saying that I need to load a network module but when i try to select my card from the available list it doesn't show up [Realtek RTL-8029(AS)]... i tried loading up one of the others and it said it worked but it needs ARGUMENTS. Now, what are these ARGUMENTS and where do I find them? Better yet, how do I go about installing a module for the model of network card that I actually have instead? Any help would be greatly and desperately appreciated... I really do want to escape from Windows, but it appears I'm going to need a little help to get going. Thanks very much, Suse 9.0, Network Card Arguments? Help please.
