Mandarke 10- Can't download my OLY740 pics into PLPhoto

Hi,
I am using Mandrake 10 (CE) and try to download pictures taken with my USB
connected Olympus C740 digicam. The pictures in the digicam are jpeg type,
and, while connected, corretly appear in /mnt/camera/dcim/100olmp (I can
brouse the pics using konqeror).
However, when I connect the camera a new FLPhoto (1.2 rc1) appears. Opening
FLPhoto I brouse to the following directory from within the program, yet I
don't see any files (pictures) in the above folder.
 
Please advise.
